We are contacting you to promote an initiative which might be interesting for your students of management or economics, or students of any discipline who are interested in business idea generation and start ups.

We are co-organizers of Virginia Tech KnowledgeWorks Global Challenge Virtual Preliminary. This competition is completely free for university student teams to register their business concept in the Virtual Preliminary for a chance to win a spot in VT August finals in the USA where student teams from around the world will pitch their business ideas and compete for the $25,000 grand prize and VT KnowledgeWorks trophy. The winner of the Preliminary will earn up to $5,000 in air travel reimbursement to advance and attend the VT KnowledgeWorks 2015 Global Student Entrepreneurship Challenge Finals, August 16-22, 2015, in Blacksburg and Roanoke, Virginia USA.

Attached is the one-page flyer you can use to announce this opportunity and free registration to your students now.  Or the online link to access the flyer is available at http://www.vtkwglobal.com/sites/default/files/fck/file/GPW/VTKW_GCVP_2015.pdf. The Global Challenge Virtual Preliminary is open to ANY full-time university student team from a non-U.S. institution and cannot be from an existing VT KnowledgeWorks Global Partner institution. A complete list of the eligibility requirements, and rules and guidelines to participate in the Virtual Preliminary are available at - www.vtkwglobal.com/2015/prelim

The first deadline to apply and submit a one-page summary of your business concept is April 1, 2015.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
